Excess Eyelid Skin Creating Vision Problems*

Procedure Details

The excess upper eyelid skin on this patient was weighting down the eyelid causing a visual field obstruction. Due to the weight of the eyelid it not only caused vision problems but was covering half of her eyes. The upper blepharoplasty surgery to remove the excess skin was covered by insurance since it was affecting the patient's vision. Post surgery she no longer suffers from any vision loss and eyes are now visible.
