This is a 24 year old patient with slightly ptotic (sagging) breasts. Upon examination of this patient, it is clear that the position of her nipples on the breast are slightly lower and that a Breast Augmentation alone may not give her the most optimal results. Dr. Guarino advised her that a Breast Augmentation with a Mastopexy (Breast Lift) would achieve the optimal results. To avoid placing any scars on the breasts the patient decided to start with the Breast Augmentation using Allergan High Profile Implants that were placed through an incision high in the axilla (armpit). The Implants were placed behind the muscle and inflated to 515 CCs. The patient was very satisfied with the increase in volume after surgery and decided not to do the Breast Lift afterwards. She decided the tradeoff of scars on the breasts vs. the nipples being slightly lower was okay with her.
