24 Year old patient who desired to go from an A to a C cup.*

This patient was in her early twenties and desired a natural and fuller cup size. The patient wanted to go from an A cup to a C cup by using a high profile saline implant. Dr. Guarino suggested that the patient use the saline implant for 2 primary reasons. First, the patient is young and has no scars on her breasts. By using the saline implants he was able to make a small incision high in the apex of the axilla (armpit) and channel the implant behind the muscle to give the most natural breast appearance without putting any scars on the breast. The second reason for the saline implant for this particular patient was due to the fact that the patient had a somewhat asymmetrical chest with the right breast being both slightly smaller and the nipple slightly lower. Since the saline implants are adjustable he was able to lower the fold on the right side to bring that nipple up to match the left and was able to even out the volume by placing 350 CCs on the right and 320 CCs on the left.
