Breast Deformity Due To Ruptured Silicone Implant*

64 year old patient, with silicone breast implants, that complained of hard, painful and deformed breasts. During the consultation it was established that she not only had a capsular contracture in both breasts, but a ruptured implant as well which was causing both the deformity and pain. Implants and any free floating gel from the ruptured implant was removed. 270cc implants were placed and a breast lift was performed. Post surgery breasts are lifted, no longer deformed and the patient is pain free.
