Keloid scarring after having an armlift.*

This is a 37 year old woman who underwent a bilateral Brachioplasty. Over the course of 36 weeks, post surgery, patient developed thick hard keloid scars that were painful and raised. During consultation, patient was advised that the scar could be excised and superficial radiation to the area, which would help tell genes to stop over growing scar tissue, which in turn creates the Keloid scar.
