Procedure Details

This is a 30 year old female, who had a circumferential body-lift in August 2016. Over the course of a 3 month healing process, she noticed her scars became red, thick, raised, and painful. Patient states the area became dry and bleed at times, making it difficult to wear pants over the area. During consultation, Dr. Guarino advised patient she had developed Keloid Scars (a genetic trait). Dr. Guarino excised the scars and patient followed up with 3 superficial radiation treatments, only to that area, which helps tell the body to stop over forming scar tissue.
