Patient came to the office unhappy with the extra, sagging skin on her arms. She decided to have a Brachioplasty. After surgery, over the course of 1 year, she started to notice her scar was getting thicker, red, and painful. She tried using scar cream, hoping it would lighten in color, and massaging the area to smooth, but neither helped. Patient came for a visit and advised she had a scar that developed a keloid. The keloid was excised and 3 superficial radiation treatmentswere performed following the excision of the keloid.
