This is a 64yr old woman, who had gastric bypass surgery. After patient plateaued in weight loss, maintaining her weight of 149lbs, she was left with excess skin. During consultation, it was noted patient has a transverse scar, on the abdomen, from a previous gall bladder surgery. Patient was advised circulation in this area has been compromised and revision, to this particular area, could not be done. Also, patient was advised that with the massive weight loss the excess skin extends beyond the abdomen, and around hips. A body-lift was performed, excising all excess skin from abdomen, hips, and back.
