Unhappy With Old Scar From A Previous Surgery*

During the patients consultation she expressed her unhappiness with a scar from a previous surgery done by another surgeon. Scar was high on the abdomen not allowing the patient to wear the types of bathing suits and clothing she wanted. Although her main concern was lowering the scar she also wanted all excess skin on her abdomen and lower back removed. Dr. Guarino recommended a lower body lift to ensure all concerns would be addressed. During surgery the old scar was excised and all excess skin was removed. Post surgery the scar is much lower and the patient is now able to wear anything she desires.
