This patient was upset with loose flabby skin of the abdomen that trapped moisture in the skin folds that caused skin irritation. She was also frustrated with clothes fitting poorly. Her complaints are the result of massive weight loss of over 60 pounds as a result of gastric bypass surgery. The weight loss left her with excess skin and fat in the abdomen, hip and buttock/back areas. After consultation with Dr. Guarino it was determined that a body-lift would be the best procedure for her. She is extremely happy with her tighter more contoured lower body and is able to wear tight fitting clothes without a problem.
