Body Lift On Mother Of 3 After Massive Weight Loss*

36 year old female who had three children. After her third child the patient underwent gastric bypass surgery and lost over a 160 pounds. She was looking to get rid of any hanging excess skin she was left with. Given the large amount of weight she lost the excess skin was not only in the abdomen area but in the lower back area as well. Since the excess skin goes from abdomen to the back area this made her an ideal candidate for a body lift. Dr Guarino used Tumescent Liposuction to remove any excess fat from the abdomen and lower back area. The excess skin was then removed from both areas. Do to the patients abdominal muscles weakening and separation of the midline abdominal muscles were sutured back together. Two drains were placed to help rid of any excess fluid. Lastly a compression garment was placed on the patient.
