A Brazilian butt lift is a special fat transfer/graft procedure that transforms a flat, deflated buttocks to round and shapely. The butt may lack volume naturally or it can be the result of factors like aging, weight loss, and gravity. No matter the cause, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Edward Guarino can add curves by removing excess fat from another area of the body and then carefully grafting the purified fat to the butt until the desired shape and volume is achieved. The best patients for a Brazilian butt lift will have good skin tone with healthy elasticity, but patients in the Allentown area who have loose skin may consider combining a Brazilian butt lift with a surgical butt lift for their best results.

"36 Year Old Mom of 2 with Severely Deflated Boobs. Cannot Believe This is Actually Happening! - Allentown, PA - Dr. Guarino is awesome! He is so easy to work with and made me feel so comfortable before, during, and after. I also love his honesty in that he heard meOut, but also advised on size appropriate for my frame. His staff and hospital staff were also wonderful! - - Hi Everyone! I'm a 36 year old mom to a 3 and 6 year old. I've always been petite and with fairl small boobs-but even ore babies they were a tight perky (very small) B and after breastfeeding and stretching to an F cup they are now a shriveled A cup. I'm thrilled with the surgeon I have chosen and his office staff are absolutely amazing as well. I was worried I wouldn't be able to go as big as I wanted because my BWD is only 11 ish but because I have some breast tissue and stretched skin I'll be able to get 320-340 cc high profile saline. We were going for 340 but my breasts are slightly asymmetrical and the left has a higher chest wall (sticks out more) and is slightly wider so he'll likely do 320/325cc on left and 340cc on right. I just finalized things yesterday and am set for 12/28!!! I go for my pre-op on 12/7 and am so excited and terrified at the same time! I know this is what I want but I hate being put under and despite having 2 children naturally I'm worried about the pain as I don't do well with Rx pain meds, but seems like I'll definitely need them the first few days. As for pictures-I'm not sure I'm ready to post any yet but may at least post some in my sports bra. Thanks for all of the posts, advice and info you all post on here-it has helped me through this process SO much and I have learned a lot! I'll be sure to post after my BA sometime after 12/28."- B. / RealSelf / Dec 02, 2016
During the initial consultation, the body will be assessed so that it can be determined where to perform liposuction in order to extract the necessary amount of fat needed to perform the transfer. Multiple donor sites may be considered. The fat will be removed and grafted for a healthy, effective transfer. It will then be injected through a syringe into the buttocks. This process will take place over several steps, and many layers may be used until the desired result is achieved. The incisions from a Brazilian butt lift are very small and thus scarring after the procedure is minimal.
A Brazilian butt lift is considered an outpatient procedure and is performed under general anesthesia at an accredited surgical facility. The entire surgery typically takes about 2 hours to complete depending on how many donor sites are used and how many layers it takes to achieve the desired fullness. Following surgery, patients will experience swelling and bruising in both the fat removal areas as well as on the buttocks. Patients will find it difficult to sit, but are encouraged to do so once the swelling has subsided. It will take about 3 full months for the body to recover and adjust to the new contour and shape.

If the injections are done correctly, the result will look and feel natural. During the procedure, additional liposuction may be used to help smooth out uneven skin, as well as ensure that the surface has a correct and even contour. It is important to find a reputable and highly-skilled surgeon with a special expertise in performing the Brazilian butt lift surgery.
Fat Transfer or Implants?@headingTag>
Both techniques are commonly used by cosmetic surgeons and can achieve good results. Some patients simply do not want a foreign device in their body and feel that the fat transfer method is safe and natural. A disadvantage of fat transfers, however, is that they may not last as long as an implant. Some of the injected fat will absorb naturally into the body. It is important to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each technique during the consultation so the right decision can be made.
Weight gain could compromise the results of the surgery. For the best long-term results, patients should maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine.
